Take an Early Look at the Upcoming Dior x Birkenstock Tokio Mules
Arriving in brown, seafoam and neon yellow.
Head of Men’s Footwear at Dior, Thibo Denis, just teased the latest iteration of Dior x Birkenstock Tokio sandals — and we’re very much here for what’s in store.
The next instalment of the coveted collaboration sees the classic silhouette arrive in three colorways, each boasting a minimal and monochromatic motif. Following the ultra-successful, initial release from 2022, the updated iteration offers a distinctively summer-ready color palette of “Brown,” “Seafoam” and “Neon Yellow” with elevated design details.
Crafted with luxurious suede uppers, the mules boast a smooth leather strap which wraps around the wearer’s ankle. Elsewhere, the slip-on silhouette features buckles for a secure fit, alongside cork-inspired midsole pieces, rounded out by Dior’s signature monogram which appears across the shoe’s outsoles. Completing the design is Dior’s moniker, printed on the footbeds.
No official release date has been confirmed as yet, but if the summer colorways are anything to go by, we expect to see them land pretty soon.
