Tap Your Pleasure Potential With LELO's New "Orgasm" Guide

In partnership with renowned sexologist Valerie Tasso.

Sexual wellness and self-care brand LELO collaborates with sexologist Valerie Tasso for all things solo sex for Masturbation May.

Despite the discovery of the orgasm gap in 1990 by icon Alfred Kinsey, “lesbian women [still] have higher rates of orgasm than straight and bisexual women, though still lower than men,” LELO’s research revealed. Ironically, lesbian women were and still are reporting the most orgasms, while most heterosexual women reported more orgasms during masturbation.

In its beginner’s guide titled “Orgasm: an informative, beginner-friendly guide to orgasm,” LELO and renowned expert Tasso address the orgasm gap and share tips for healthy sexual pleasure. The brand’s exclusive press release reveals its motivation behind targeting this issue. “Whilst steps have been taken to demystify the female orgasm in recent years, this increased visibility brings its own complications,” it shared.

Aiming to “debunk the myths surrounding orgasms,” LELO and Tasso will ”re-educate readers on climax and encourage readers to re-frame expectations of sexual intercourse, helping them tap into true pleasure potential.”

Tasso, co-author of “Orgasm” and Spanish ambassador for LELO, shared: “We owe it to ourselves and to our partners — however sporadic — to educate ourselves in the pursuit of sexual equality.” Revealing a little sneak peek, Tasso continues: “Covering the male and female orgasm, we look at why some people have never experienced climax and why others exaggerate how many they have had, sharing tips and advice for how to tap into total pleasure.”
