Devi Has Sex for the First Time in the New 'Never Have I Ever' Season 4 Trailer
Ending high school with a bang — literally.
UPDATE (MAY 9, 2023): Based on the new trailer for Never Have I Ever, Season 4 is going to be a memorable one.
The preview begins with Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and Ben having an awkward conversation after having sex together. Then, the trailer shows how having sex for the first time boosts her self-esteem — at least for a while. “We’re finally seniors, and honestly, I think we’re doing pretty great,” Devi tells her best friends, Eleanor and Fabiola. “Now that I’ve done the deed, I can focus on what’s important — Princeton!”
The trailer also shows Devi navigating multiple love interests, including Paxton.
The fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever premieres on Netflix on June 8. Watch the first official trailer above.
ORIGINAL STORY (April 13, 2023): Never Have I Ever is back for its fourth and final season. Netflix has finally dropped a teaser trailer for Season 4 and revealed the premiere date.
The streamer released the coming-of-age comedy in 2020; it centers around Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) — an overachieving modern-day first-generation Indian-American high school student. In Season 4, Devi is entering her senior year of high school at Sherman Oaks High. The preview shows Devi and her friends navigating a transitional time in their lives, which involves new and old flames, partying and more.
In August 2022, co-creator Mindy Kaling announced Season 4 would be the last. “Unfortunately, young people grow up and you can’t be 17 forever,” she told E! News at the time. “I’m really happy with where we ended with the stories and with the characters’ growth. It was a very emotional finale. I truly love this world and what the actors brought to these characters. It made it one of the best creative experiences of my life.”
