Jacob Elordi Looks Unrecognizable as Elvis Presley in First Official Teaser Trailer for 'Priscilla'
Based on Priscilla Presley’s 1985 memoir, ‘Elvis and Me.’
Nearly a year after Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic hit theaters, we’ve gotten a first look at a new film of the famous family — Priscilla — which is based on Priscilla Presley‘s 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me. The first teaser trailer for Priscilla, which stars Jacob Elordi as the King of Rock ‘N Roll and Cailee Spaeny as the titular role, shows a different side of the iconic former couple.
The synopsis for the film reads as follows: “When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley at a party, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a gentle best friend. Through Priscilla’s eyes, Sofia Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla’s long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame.”
Priscilla is slated to hit theaters in October. Check out the first teaser trailer above.
