Nintendo Announces New Princess Peach Solo Game and Super Mario RPG Remake

Both for Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has announced a variety of games, including a Princess Peach solo game and a Super Mario RPG remake, both for the Nintendo Switch.

“A brand-new game starring Princess Peach is coming to #NintendoSwitch in 2024! Stay tuned for more details,” read a tweet by Nintendo of America, which also shared photos of the new modern-day graphics. Additionally, a teaser clip for the game was shared, which shows Princess Peach using her magic, traveling and undergoing a transformation. The forthcoming Princess Peach solo game comes nearly twenty years after Super Princess Peach, which was released for Nintendo DS in 2005.

Another game Nintendo announced that has received a lot of buzz is the remake of Super Mario RPG. The forthcoming video game appears to be a faithful adaptation of the original game, which is titled Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. 

Super Mario RPG releases on November 17, 2023, while the Princess Peach solo game will launch sometime in 2024. Check out the teaser trailers for both below.
