No, Cardi B Didn't Cheat on Offset -- But, "I Should've," She Says
This might be the most hilarious clapback of all time.
One thing we didn’t foresee for 2023, was Offset accusing his wife Cardi B of infidelity — via social media.
On June 26, Offset posted an explicit Instagram story that read: “My wife f-cking a n**** on me gang y’all n***** know how I come.” The moment left fans confused as Offset has been found guilty of cheating in the past.
Cardi B eventually responded via Twitter Spaces, a new favorite medium for connecting with fans, and began to sing “I Should’ve Cheated” by Keyshia Cole. The song follows the story of a woman who was accused of cheating, while her partner was frequently unfaithful and got away with it.
In the Twitter Space, the New York-born rapper shared her official statement: “You can’t accuse me of all of the things you know you are guilty of,” she quoted the iconic song before asking her community to “sing it with me y’all… Don’t pay attention to that country man [Offset] y’all.”
Making a reference to Rubi Rose’s “Big Mouth” she says she can’t “f-ck” regular men or industry men, as they all would blab at the opportunity to tell someone they had relations with her. “So please boy, stop acting stupid.”
