Timothée Chalamet Is Willy 'Wonka' in Official Trailer

The official trailer for the upcoming film, Wonka has just been released, giving fans a first look at Timothée Chalamet as the eccentric chocolatier.
Featuring a diverse cast, the two minute and thirty second preview offers a whimsical sneak peek at how Willy Wonka became the larger-than-life candyman we know and love, showcasing his journey to establish his factory, long before he met Charlie. In between confections that make naysayers float and oompa loompas trapped in jars, viewers will discover the heartfelt motivation behind Wonka’s passion — his mother, who is played by Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins from The Shape of Water and Paddington.
Acting alongside Chalamet is Calah Lane from The Day Shall Come, as well as Emmy and Peabody Award winner Keegan-Michael Key, joining Oscar winner Olivia Colman, Insecure and The White Lotus‘ Natasha Rothwell and Hugh Grant.
