LOEWE Steps Into the Surreal With FW23 Womenswear

With a campaign starring actors Taylor Russell and Tang Wei.

LOEWE continues its vivid exploration of the surreal and the strange for the Fall/Winter 2023 season through its newest womenswear campaign.

Lensed by long-term collaborator David Sims, the campaign stars actors Taylor Russell and Tang Wei, portrayed in a “suspended time” and “erased place.” Spotlighting silhouettes like the foldable Puzzle tote, Nappa leather Squeeze bag and footwear styles like the Toy and Bow pumps, FW23 aims to convey the lightness and craft behind the objects in question.

Surrealism permeates the entirety of the campaign, from the objects themselves to the garments worn by Russell and Wei, exuding a sense of “sensual femininity,” the playful visuals are juxtaposed by blurring prints that trick the eye and pastel looks inspired by Polly Pocket.

Texture plays a big part too, as is standard for LOEWE, with garments emblazoned in feathers, rhinestones, brushed suede and shearling. Continuing the brand’s exploration of texture, symbolism and color from its FW23 menswear collection, the campaign features standout styles like the Puzzle Edge, Flamenco, Goya and Paseo.

In other news, Hailey Bieber stars in Saint Laurent Fall 2023.
