Lancôme Joins Forces With the Louvre for the Ultimate Fall Skincare and Makeup Capsule

A surprise and delight for beauty and art lovers alike.

The Louvre Museum is partnering with Lancome for a makeup and skincare collaboration called “Beauty Is a Living Art” that aims to showcase the diverse forms of beauty.

The collaboration offers six products inspired by the four muses: Hygie, Hermaphrodite, Nymph with Scorpion and Nymph Echo. These products include a five-pan eyeshadow palette, four shades of lipstick and a face serum, with packaging that features art from the Louvre. Lancôme’s global brand president, Françoise Lehmann, says the collaboration is about opening new perspectives to women about their artistic heritage and celebrating the fact that beauty is constantly evolving. The president and director of the Louvre, Laurence des Cars, adds that the collaboration highlights the diversity of forms found in the Louvre’s collections and the dialogue between cultures and civilizations that transcends time and geography.

Actor Zendaya is featured in another Lancôme campaign alongside two famous ancient Greek sculptures from the Louvre museum: The Winged Victory of Samothrace, which represents victory, and the Venus of Arles, which represents love. In a statement, Zendaya explained that to her, the posture of Samothrace represents a confident and victorious woman and a powerful symbol of achievement, which is what true beauty is all about – drawing on our own story to empower ourselves.

The Lancome x Louvre “Beauty Is A Living Art” collection is only available for a limited time. Prices range from $35 USD to $89 USD and is available via Lancome’s website.
