Netflix‘s Sex Education and The Crown star, Gllian Anderson, stuns at the 81st Golden Globes in Los Angeles.

From Rosamund Pike‘s goth-inspired statement gown to Meryl Streep‘s sequined attire — oh and Ayo Edibiri’s first Globe, the 81st Golden Globes were a win for women. But by far the show stopper was Sex Education star Anderson’s soft glam — and vagina dress. “It has vaginas on it,” she proudly told the interviewer on the red carpet. Rightfully feeling shameless, she revealed that she wore it “for so many reasons,” but most importantly because “It’s brand appropriate.” Mother.

The embroidered gown, designed by Gabriela Hearst, was the talk of the evening as upon first glance it didn’t give much away. Of course, Anderson, most known for her role as the vagina workshop-slash-sex-educator mother, ensured the cameras didn’t miss the custom moment. “The dress has yonis, if you’d like to pan down, there are so many yonis… it’s about 150 hours of embroidery,” she explained.

Immediately, Sex Education fans flooded social media with commentary. “Mother,” many wrote. And of course, in true nostalgia-Gen-Z-fashion, began recounting Mother’s most cuntiest looks.
