Heaven by Marc Jacobs Opens a New Group Exhibition in Los Angeles

Titled “Just Like Heaven” and featuring artists like Sofia Coppola, Petra Collins and Damien Hirst.

Heaven by Marc Jacobs is bringing together the works of Sofia Coppola, Petra Collins, Damien Hirst and more in a brand new group exhibition in Los Angeles. Arriving at the CONTROL Gallery, “Just Like Heaven” features the work of 18 established and emerging artists, tributing the brand’s own inspirations from past projects.

Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Marc Jacobs brand, the new exhibition revisits and celebrates some of the landmark collaborations that have made Heaven what it is today. Curated by CONTROL along with ICNCLST fouunder Sky Gellatly and the Heaven by Marc Jacobs team, the exhibition features work from several different decades, blending emerging with established and everything in between.

Key pieces include Bladee’s electric candy wrapper collage and Alake Shilling’s bear sculpture, along with works from FUTURA2000, Richard Kern and Marilyn Minter, plus new names like Stray Rats’ Julian Consuegra and Cactus Plant Flea Market.

Take a look at some of the works on display above, and head to CONTROL Gallery in LA from now until January 18, 2025 to visit the exhibition.
