Oscars 2024: Emily Blunt Arrives in the Cheekiest Gown

Oppenheimer star, Emily Blunt, arrives at the 96th Academy Awards red carpet.
With a highly anticipated arrival as a nominee, Blunt shocked viewers with her gown. What was so compelling, you ask? She donned stunning Schiaparelli sequin dress.

The most shocking bit was… just that… the optical illusion of lady bits. Seemingly tapping the underwear as outerwear trend, she paired the seemingly gravity-defying gown with layered jewelry and gorgeously swept-updo. The actor was accompanied by her husband, John Krasinski, most known for The Office.
The vulva isn’t the only lady bit receiving play time on award show red carpets. Last year at the 76th annual Tony Awards, actor Lupita Nyong’o wore a breastplate designed by Pakistani designer, Misha Japanwala. At the time, Nyong’o wrote shared that its importance was to deconstruct ”shame attached to one’s body” and an “insistence on being allowed to exist freely in our bodies.”
