You Can Get a $10 USD Manicure From This Robot

In ten minutes flat.

This one’s for the girlies are overstimulated in busy nail salon settings or looking for a quick and easy manicure. Clockwork’s nail painting robot will become your new bestie, as the automated salon experience will get you in and out of the door in roughly ten minutes. The experience starts with answering a few questions on the touch-tone screen and picking your polish color from the 30 cartridge options offered on the side of the machine.

To start the manicure process, take the individual cartridge down and pop it into the machine and if you already have regular polish on, there’s a spinning electronic acetone nail polish remover available to stick your fingers in to remove any polish.

Next, place your fingers, one at a time, into a loop on the machine, then slide your arm forward to lock it in place and signal the robot to begin. Once you say “ready,” the machine will light up and drop down a tiny nail brush to begin polishing your nails. When each nail is done, carefully slip your finger out of the loop and replace it with an unpolished nail until you are finished.

There’s no top coat service being offered just yet or acrylics for the XXL nail baes, but if you’re in need of a last-minute manicure then this robot is for you. The Clockwork Robot is currently located in New York, California, Washington, D.C. and Miami, to name a few.

Head over to the brand’s website to book a Clockwork manicure at a location near you.
