Everything You Need To Know About Blake Lively’s New Haircare Brand

Which, controversially, excludes conditioner.

Last week, Blake Lively took to Instagram with a cryptic and caption-less photo showcasing just the back of her hair under a new Instagram account called Blake Brown Beauty. Fans of the actor were left questioning the prospect of a new makeup and beauty brand on the horizon and now, we have the answers. On July 31, Lively officially unveiled her new haircare endeavour and the inspiration behind it.

Blake Brown Beauty’s haircare line comes packaged in a variety of glowing hues which already have fans eagerly awaiting the launch and praising the package design. Aside from the squeezable tube for the shampoo mask, all other items come in a stackable hexagonal container with a golden bronze finish and wooden screw tops. At first glance, the haircare products have created a sophisticated first impression, but it’s Blake Lively — would we expect any less?

However, some fans have questioned why there isn’t a conditioner. Fear not, replacing it will be hair masks — it’s what the queen herself would use instead. The full line of hair products will include two shampoos: “Fundamental Strengthening Shampoo” and the “Fundamental Nourishing Shampoo” and three masks: “Fundamental Nourishing Mask,” “Fundamental Strengthening Mask” and “Rich Reset Pre-ShampooMask.” Lastly, the “All-In-wONEder Leave-In Potion,” “The Dry Shampoo” and “Glam Mousse” support hairstyling and longevity.

“I also wanted scents that felt like fragrances I would actually buy as high end perfume. I wanted it to be cleaner than the products I was using with great results so I didn’t feel nervous sharing it with family. I wanted it to attempt to show how beautiful maximum sustainability can be. I wanted it to be vegan, cruelty free and formulated without sulfates, silicones, parabens, synthetic dyes etc.” Lively shared on the collaborative Instagram post.

Blake Brown Beauty will launch exclusively on its website on August 5 and in Target on August 4.
