We're Calling It Now — Bangs Are Going to Be Everywhere This Year

Whether they’re short and edgy or long and layered, these celebrities are already rocking the look.

Is it just us or does it feel like 2025 is officially the year of bangs? From the Golden Globes red carpet to our Instagram feeds, it seems like the hairstyle is everywhere. It’s as if, overnight, everyone from A-listers to influencers are deciding to chop it all off and adopt a fringe-forward look. Whether it’s curtain bangs, baby bangs or a sleek, blunt trim, this hair trend is taking over. Last year alone, Google experienced a 150% spike in searches for “messy fringe” and a 950% increase in the search for “bangs 2024.” Some are going for that effortlessly tousled vibe, while others are opting for a shorter, playful coif. We might be getting ahead of ourselves, but it’s hard to ignore. It’s safe to say bangs are the new “it-girl” cut.

If you’re thinking about making the switch, keep reading to check out our round-up of stars who are fully embracing the bang.
