Muhza Wants to Make Your Skincare Routine Hormone-Friendly

The brand is launching products designed to sync with your menstrual cycle.

Muhza is so much more than just skincare. After struggling with hormonal acne due to PCOS, the brand’s founder Alexia Coutts set out to create products that sync with the body’s natural rhythm. Now, Muhza is launching unique serums designed for each phase of the menstrual cycle.

Coutts found that ordinary skincare products did not account for the monthly hormonal changes she went through, so she launched Muhza in hopes that our skincare routines could coexist with our cycles — rather than work against them. Formulated with extensive research of both the menstrual cycle and acne-prone skin, Muhza’s products were designed to deliver results within a single week.

With all this in mind, Muhza dreamed up four serums: the Muna Hydrating Serum to hydrate and restore skin during the menstrual phase, the Puri Exfoliating Serum to resurface skin during the follicular phase, the Qori Preventative Serum to reduce hyper pigmentation and boost collagen during the ovulatory phase and the Ayni Calming Serum to smooth skin during the luteal phase.

In addition to the serums, Muhza also offers the Ilari Oil Cleanser which has safflower oil and sea buckthorn oil to repair the skin’s moisture barrier and improve elasticity. By prioritizing safety and clinically supported ingredients, Muhza’s hormone-friendly products are setting a precedent in the skincare space.

Muhza’s skincare range is priced between $32 – $84 USD and is now available exclusively on the brand’s website.
