Supriya Lele Launches "A Summer Reverie" With Mango
Featuring a 34-piece collection of dresses, swimsuits and more.
British-Indian designer Supriya Lele has collaborated with Mango to launch “A Summer Reverie,” a collection that pays tribute to our favorite season. The partnership also marks the launch of Mango Collective, a new platform that aims to celebrate the creativity and innovation of rising designers. Developed to bring “fresh perspectives to the fashion world,” the platform features Lele as the first designer.
The collection comprises 34 pieces, centered on the warmth and allure of the summer season. Featuring maxi dresses, skirts and bathing suits, “A Summer Reverie” takes inspiration from “the dreamlike quality of summer nights.” Landing in playful hues of shiny blue, bright pink and brown, the collection fuses sheer fabrics and daring cut-outs with elegant silhouettes and draping.
To celebrate the release, Supriya Lele and Mango teamed up with photographer Johnny Dufort for a glitzy campaign that captures the “sensorial atmosphere” of the collection. Also featured as part of the campaign is a video by Julien Pujol.
