Cristiano Ronaldo Just Proposed to Georgina Rodríguez With a *Massive* Ring
Massive might be an understatement.
Georgina Rodríguez won the hearts of many after her 2022 Netflix special, I Am Georgina. In a recently shared Instagram post, Rodríguez revealed that she is officially engaged to her longtime partner, Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” she captioned the post which translates to “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.” The pair has been together for eight years and has several children together.
According to UK-based jeweler Steven Stone, the ring is approximately $10 million USD, and “features a breathtaking 30-carat oval-cut diamond.” The gorgeous ring is also “accented by substantial side stones for added brilliance.”
During the hit Netflix series, Ronaldo was asked if he would ever propose to Rodriguez, as they had been dating for almost five years without an engagement. At the time, Ronaldo said he was waiting for it to “click,” and once he felt that, he’d be ready to propose.
“It could be in a year, or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1,000 percent sure that it’ll happen,” he said on an episode of I Am Georgina. Many were confused by his statement at the time, but the recent proposal reveals it was in good faith.
