Lady Gaga Leads 2025 MTV VMA Nominations
Fans are wondering, can she break Beyoncé and Taylor Swift’s records?
It’s official, pop star Lady Gaga tops the 2025 MTV VMAs list with her most recent album, MAYHEM, nominated for “Best Album.” She’s also been nominated for “Video of the Year” for her single “Die With A Smile” with Bruno Mars. The single was also nominated for “Best Collaboration,” “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop.”
MAYHEM also rose to the top of nomination lists with “Best Direction,” “Best Editing,” Best Choreography,” “Best Cinematography” and “Best Visual Effects” for “Abracadabra.”

The VMA ceremony, however, is on the same night as Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball Tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York. The scheduling has fans wondering what the “Abracadabra” singer will attend which naturally, birthed hilarious memes on Twitter.
Voting is hosted on MTV’s VMA website with the opportunity to vote up to 20 times a day.
