The Best-Dressed Celebrities at the 2026 MTV VMAs
From LISA’s red-hot look to Tyla’s snakeskin set.
The 2026 MTV VMAs took place on Sunday night in Los Angeles at the Peacock Theatre hosted by Snoop Dogg and full of plenty of memorable moments. Known as one of the biggest nights in music, the awards honor the best music videos, albums and live performances and play host to an incredibly stylish red carpet.
The nominations were led by Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars, to name a few, while the performances for the night were kicked off by Madonna taking the stage, followed by Raye, Sombr, LISA and Gunna, among others. LISA also made history as the first Asian artist to win the Best Pop award for her track “Dream,” getting emotional as she made her speech on stage.
But before that all happened, the VMAs red carpet was the moment for stars to have a little fun. The awards have long offered some pretty avant-garde looks over the years (remember Lady Gaga’s meat dress), and while tonight was perhaps slightly tamer, with many stars leaning into more classic glam, the carpet was definitely not without some head-turning looks.
