Jenna Ortega has been killing it on the outfit front lately, from her method-dressing Wednesday press tour looks to her recent red carpet appearances. We’re in constant awe. The killer looks don’t seem to be stopping any time soon, either, as Ortega’s Givenchy look was the talk of the Emmys red carpet last night.
Stepping out in a jewel-encrusted top courtesy of Sarah Burton (and her first-ever Givenchy collection, may we add), Ortega paired the dazzling piece with a classy black silk skirt with a thigh-high slit, strappy black platform heels and a chic updo. Critics appeared to be rightly obsessed with the ensemble, dubbing it the return of “naked dressing.”
Originally worn by Kaia Gerber in Burton’s first-ever campaign for the house, the “Broken Chandelier Top” sends a message of power, resilience and the beauty of women.
