Gentle Monster Wants You To Wear Your Veggies
Aespa’s Karina leads the new produce-inspired eyewear drop.
Gentle Monster is taking “farm-to-table” to a whole new level. The cult eyewear brand just unveiled its Veggie Collection, a wildly imaginative series of compact, folding sunglasses inspired by the shapes and colors of garden vegetables. It’s the ultimate fusion of synthetic precision and organic absurdity, proving that your accessory drawer could probably use a little more fiber.
The capsule features ten portable, foldable designs where organic curves meet architectural structure. We’re talking frames that echo vegetable silhouettes and temple accents shaped like stems. To match the eccentric vibe, the campaign stars Karina of K-pop group aespa, set against a dreamlike field, leaning into an eccentric narrative where an obsession with vegetables, most notably the tomato, becomes a striking visual motif.
To mark the launch, global pop-up installations will take over six cities, including Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Beijing and Bangkok. Each space is designed as an immersive “Veggiemon” garden, featuring oversized tomato sculptures, whimsical vegetable-inspired creatures and interactive photo booths that allow visitors to transform into their own “Veggiemon” character.
