Jelly Shoe Summer Starts Now Thanks to Melissa and GANNI

With a limited-edition drop featuring kitten heels and ruffles.

If you’ve been spotting jelly shoes everywhere this spring, you’re not imagining it, and the trend is only heating up for summer. Just in time, footwear label Melissa teamed up with GANNI for a limited-edition capsule that channels carefree, all-day summer energy. Think playful, expressive footwear designed to go from city cycling to waterside hangs without missing a beat.

The collaboration reimagines Melissa’s signature jelly silhouettes through GANNI’s distinctly cool lens, delivering two standout styles. First up is the Thong Kitten Heel, an elevated take on the classic flip-flop, arriving in bold blue, yellow and red colorways, alongside a statement black leopard print for those wanting something a little wilder.

If you’re looking to keep things closer to the ground, the Flip Flop Slim offers a softer, feminine feel with a playful jelly ruffle strap detail. Equal parts nostalgic and fashion-forward, both styles are designed for easy styling, whether paired with GANNI’s summer dresses or your favorite denim.

As GANNI creative director Ditte Reffstrup puts it, the collection captures “that endless summer feeling in Copenhagen,” and it delivers exactly that. Get yours to join the jelly shoe takeover.

Ahead of the global launch, Melissa will celebrate with an exclusive preview event in Rio de Janeiro on May 17, before the collection drops worldwide the following day, on the GANNI and Melissa websites.

In other news, Coach debuted its Brain Dead collaboration with a surprise runway show.
