Valentino Takes Us Back to 2010 With the New Rockstud Pumps

The punk-chic style gets a refresh for Pre-Fall 2026.

Studs are back and better than ever. Valentino officially unveiled its campaign for the new Valentino Garavani Rockstud pumps, marking creative director Alessandro Michele’s first major spin on the Maison’s spiky superstar. Shot in Rome by Johnny Dufort, the campaign follows a chic game of flânerie (essentially wandering the city looking incredibly cool), proving that these shoes are still the ultimate expression of rockstar energy.

First making waves back in 2010, the Rockstud returns with a fresh silhouette, while also riding the wave of 2010s fashion nostalgia. The reimagined design features chiseled pointed toes, a sleek platinum finish and those signature red insoles. Whether you’re a high-heel devotee or a fan of something a bit more comfortable, the pumps arrive in multiple heel heights.

Color-wise, Michele is giving us options. The palette ranges from sophisticated neutrals to high-energy pops like bright green and icy blue. If you aren’t feeling the pump, the family also includes strappy sandals and flats that bring a sense of “measured irreverence” to your summer rotation. These are the perfect blend of structural strength and Italian chic.

The new Valentino Garavani Rockstud collection is now available via the Valentino website.
