This Retro, Brookyln-Inspired Editorial Is A "Slam Dunk"

Featuring Nike, Reebok and more.

Between the return of chunky, platform dad sneakers and logo-mania, it’s safe to say the 90s look will be more popular than ever in 2018. This editorial, inspired by Brookyln’s old-school hip hop scene, serves as perfect inspiration on how to channel that easily wearable and insanely comfortable trend this season.

Titled “Slam Dunk,” this is rather appropriately shot on and around a basketball court, although in London rather than New York. The iconic ’90s hairstyles are paired with minimal and natural, dewy makeup looks that capture the era at its finest. The silhouettes are oversized, with a graphic Sade tribute T-shirt being paired with baggy cargo pants, a simple rope belt and Nike Air Max 95s. The next look favors comfort above all – a vintage-style Reebok sweatshirt is teamed with soft sweatpants for the ultimate cozy-girl look.

Browse through the editorial above to get some inspo for your 2018 wardrobe.
