Here's Your First Look at 'Dragon Ball Z' x adidas Originals' Vegeta Ultra Tech & Majin Boo Kamanda
The latest footwear in the anime collaboration.
adidas Originals has shared the official images for the latest silhouettes in its Dragon Ball Z footwear collaboration. The Kamanda and Ultra Tech models are reimagined to reference characters Boo and Vegeta respectively.
The Kamanda silhouette replicates Boo’s rubberlike body and shape shifting capabilities. The pink nubuck upper abruptly transitions into a translucent rubber midsole. The shoe is further detailed with a Maijin belt heel patch and gold foil Kamanda logo. The Ultra Tech replicates Vegetas distinctive black hair, blue suit and golden armor. The shoe’s upper borrows this clor scheme adding an embroidery detail to mimic Vegeta’s rippled armor plates. His famous quote “Over 9000!” can be found on the shoe’s side.
Each sneaker in this collaboration arrives with limited-edition packaging and custom sock liners. Both sneakers are scheduled to release later this month. Enjoy a closer look above and stay tuned for more information.
