UPDATE: A Closer Look at Virgil Abloh's Debut Collection for Louis Vuitton

Shoes, bags and more.

UPDATE: A closer look at Virgil Abloh’s upcoming Louis Vuitton collection has now surfaced, featuring a better look at the range’s accessories and footwear. From iridescent carry-all bags, to sporty trainers – it is safe to say that Abloh is bringing his background of streetwear to the luxury fashion house. Take a look at the upcoming pieces in the gallery above and stay tuned as the collection releases in January 2019.

Virgil Abloh‘s first Louis Vuitton collection is slated to release within the coming months. The runway presentation provided an official peek, but now we’ve received a first look at the debut Spring/Summer 2019 drop.

Back in June, the Paris Fashion Week Men’s range brought into fruition by Abloh was headlined by distinct accessories and separates. The collection, which was inspired by The Wizard of Oz, also featured a plethora of chain-heavy leather handbags and primary color sweaters. Additional staples which will be arriving soon include a sleek holster vest and the previously teased Millionaire sunglasses.

Take a look at the pieces from Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton debut SS19 drop in the gallery above. The collection will arrive via a limited released at Louis Vuitton’s appointment-only pop-up store in London this month; you can book an appointment online and global shoppers can expect a full release in January.
