Miley Cyrus has just released her new single “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” with Mark Ronson, and just in time for the holidays, the star appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Taking part in a Christmas-themed sketch, the singer gives the holiday classic “Santa Baby” a 2018-appropriate update. In the sketch, the star changes lyrics to reflect struggles women face, and to highlight female independence. With lyrics like, “I’ve had enough and I can buy my own damn stuff,” “a girl’s best friend is equal pay” and “tell the dirtbag to put away the chimney tonight,” Miley takes the song to a whole new level – with Jimmy Fallon and Mark Ronson dancing in the background.
