Gucci's Pre-Fall 2019 Lookbook Is an Outlandish Italian Fantasy With Snacks
Shot by Harmony Korine.
In an ongoing collaboration of sorts, Gucci unveils its Pre-Fall 2019 collection lookbook shot by screenwriter and director Harmony Korine. In an official press release, the fashion house shares that the imagery was shot on-location at the archaeological parks of Herculaneum and Pompeii. Notably, the move to shoot at these locations is a continuation of supporting Italian cultural heritage. Korine is best known for films such as Kids and Spring Breakers.
Alessandro Michele‘s latest collection is another outlandish ride on the wild side featuring snacks. The garments are constructed in bright colors, heavy detailing and are topped off with lush accessories. Staples in the range include chic oversized blazers, berets created with logos and gaudy jewelry. Suiting plays a large role in the collection and appears in an array of options.
