Here's an Official Look at adidas' Upcoming Yung 1 Sneaker
A new spin on the ’90s silhouette.
Since we got a closer look at adidas’ Yung 1 silhouette, we’ve been eagerly awaiting official news on the Frankenstein sneaker. Now courtesy of Till Jagla, senior director of concept at adidas Originals, we have an update.
Jagla took to Instagram to share a better look at the sneaker, which at first glance appeared like a mashup of the YEEZY Wave Runner 700 and Desert Rat 500. Clarifying the inspiration behind this new silhouette, Jagla shared that the upper actually is taken from adidas‘ Falcon Dorf from the late ’90s but has been given a contemporary update with a reimagined sole unit.
