The Parley x adidas NMD_CS1 Is an Ocean-Themed, Futuristic Design

Constructed with up-cycled plastic.

adidas Originals presents its latest NMD_CS1 silhouette which is a collaboration with Parley for the Oceans. The new-age design highlights the global brand’s commitment to tackling marine plastic pollution.

The simple, clean-cut design is constructed with a one-piece Primeknit, sock-like fit. Upon closer inspection, we see the upper is made of Parley Ocean Plastic™ yarn directly from up-cycled plastic waste picked up from beaches and coastal communities. Additionally, the colorway appears in an ocean-themed “Blue” with black striping details. The sneakers sit atop all-white NMD BOOST tooling paired with tonal white EVA insert plugs and a recycled rubber outsole.

Pick up the innovative design on March 31 over at adidas. The kicks price out at $220 USD.
