Nike's New Air Max 1 Is Pink and Green Like Summer "Watermelon"
Yum.
Nike is teasing us with thoughts of warmer weather. The footwear giant has covered the Air Max 1 in pink and green shades that mimic the best summer fruit — “Watermelon.” The shoe has a “Kinetic Green” lower half, that is split by a “Summit White” midsole. This color also graces the outsole creating a unique sneaker profile. Atop the soft gray lateral is a “Sunset Pulse” pink Swoosh that places this ’90s runner at the top of our summer cop list. The Nike Air logo is also stamped on the rear in the pastel shade.
The two-tone colorway was previously stocked at Nike, but sold out quickly. According to Sneaker News, fans will have to wait until September 21 to get their hands on the pair which retail for $110 USD. If you need your Air Max fix now check out the “Pure Platinum” iteration.
