Rick Owens' Fall/Winter 2018 Collection Showcases Experimental, Grungy Garments

Featuring white face paint and imaginative silhouettes.

Rick Owens’ Fall/Winter 2018 collection presented at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris took showgoers on an eccentric journey filled with juxtaposed elements.

The namesake label showcased looks which were predictably off-the-wall, yet modern elements were seen in the trendy sneakers seen in white and brown hues. The pieces pointed to Owens’ topsy-turvy imagination in addition to highlighting his current take on the omnipresent plaid pattern which has been seen at other Paris Fashion Week presentations. Makeup and beauty looks consisted of white face paint or seemingly natural faces paired with blown out, straightened hair. In total, the range pointed to the designer’s knack for creating unconventional, wearable pieces his cult fans love.
