Billie Eilish Teams up with Khalid on Her Latest Track "lovely"

Watch the emotion-filled video here.

16-year old Billie Eilish has been making a name for herself in the music industry lately, with catchy hits like “Ocean Eyes” and “Bellyache.” Now, the singer is back with a new track together with Khalid, titled “lovely.” “We called it “lovely” because the song was sort of really freaking depressing so then it’s like oh, how lovely. Just taking everything horrible like you know what this is great. I’m so happy being miserable,” said Eilish on the track, which is produced by the singer’s brother.

Focusing on overcoming depression, the duo sings emotional lyrics like, “But I know someday I’ll make it out of here, even if it takes all night or a hundred years,” and the accompanying video sees the two trapped in a glass box filled with emotions. Everything from rain to thunder, the visuals represent the underlying emotions of the song, giving the listener the full experience.

Take a look at the video for “lovely” in the gallery above, and stream the track over at Spotify, Apple Music and more. Stay tuned for more Billie Eilish, as the singer is currently working on her debut album.
