Burberry's Checked Baseball Cap Just Got Dipped in Plastic
A summer must-cop.
Burberry‘s heritage house check is back and better than ever – recently, the iconic plaid pattern has been spotted on everything from a white T-shirt to summer-ready pool slides. It’s even arrived on the must-have accessory of the season, the humble baseball cap, which Adwoa Aboah wore during Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2017 show.
Now, the same baseball cap gets a contemporary, Spring/Summer 2018 update as it’s overtaken in shiny, laminate plastic throughout. Beneath the transparent coating, the classic check is visible in tan brown, black, red and white and exposed black stitching adds an edge to the look. Made in Italy, the cap features the trademark six-panel construction, a curved peak, an embroidered eyelets in black and an adjustable black leather strap to fasten at the back.
