Feng Chen Wang's Fall/Winter 2018 Collection Highlights Functional Fabrics

Featuring a multi-layered boyfriend shirt.

Feng Chen Wang unveils her Fall/Winter 2018 collection “The Way Home” for her namesake label. The graduate of the prestigious Royal College of Art in London first launched her line back in 2015 at New York Fashion Week with VFILES. Following the launch, Wang was nominated for the LVMH Prize and went on to showcase two runway collections in the United Kingdom.

For the Fall/Winter 2018 lookbook, Wang took inspiration from her childhood home and created a range which evokes a sense of whimsical timelessness. The pieces focus on functionality and feature design cues like long strips of cotton as seen on the unisex boyfriend shirts. Technical fabrics compliment the experimental design silhouettes which are bold and filled with eccentric shapes. The color palette utilized hues which can be easily worn with one’s pre-existing fall wardrobe: warm orange, sky blue, army green and khaki.

Take a look at the collection in the gallery above. Head to Feng Chen Wang’s website for more information on the fashion line.
