Halsey debuts a trippy, extravagant video for her new video for the track “Alone” off of her recently released studio album, Hopeless Fountain Mountain. The story told throughout paints a picture of a gaudy, exciting party which Halsey attends in a glamorous, bejeweled gown with a matching mask. The visual includes the remixed version of the single which features rappers Big Sean and Stefflon Don.
When dropping the official link for the video, Halsey tweeted alongside: “Never underestimate the power of a broken heart.” The video was co-directed by the artist and filmmaker Hannah Lux Davis. “Alone” follows Halsey on a miniature journey as she travels through the nightclub on the hunt for her former lost love. As the night goes on she is surrounded by religious motifs and clubgoers in equally fancy outfits.
