Nike's Air Max 97 "Metallic Gold" Will Restock Next Month

One of our favorite colorways of Nike‘s Air Max 97 will restock next month. The “Metallic Gold” runner was re-released last year shortly after the buzzy “Silver Bullet” iteration. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of this silhouette, Nike was sure to update it with as many luxe accents as it could hold.
To remind you of its specs, the ’90s sneaker is covered in a gold leather material with laces to match. Its outer waves are laced with 3M threads that allow it to glow in the dark. A small “Varsity Red” Swoosh lies on the mesh lateral atop a clean, white midsole. To complete is a black outsole at the bottom of the see-through Air Max Unit which is also boosted with gold tones.
Shoppers who missed out on the first time will now be able to redeem themselves. The reflective AM97 will be available at Nike on May 17 for $160 USD.
