13 Bonaparte's "Le Denim" Lookbook Is Minimalism at Its Finest
Simple and chic.
Parisian label 13 Bonaparte has always been known for its chic collections that showcase urban sophistication. Through beautifully crafted pieces, the minimalistic designs display much more than refined simplicity – they seem to explore the very nature of shape and color.
For its latest 2018 Le Denim Project lookbook (the brand adheres to a seasonless schedule), the French imprint collaborates with Allyssa Heuze, a photographer who was recently nominated for France’s 2018 Hyères Festival photographie grand prix. Each year, Le Denim is a collection that expands upon the menswear brand’s core program with an ever-growing selection of women’s styles.
With the latest offering, founder and artistic director David Sarfati examines the diversity of the project’s namesake material. With precise lines and detailed construction, accents such as collars, pockets and zippers reinterpret the silhouettes in new ways. Using an array of neutral tones, the pieces use a palette of obsidians and greys derived from raw and black rinses, offset by white and bleached denim.
You can shop the full collection now at 13 Bonaparte’s website, as well as at its flagships in Paris and Los Angeles.
