Watch Kendall Jenner Get Ready for the 2018 Met Gala
With help from Off-White™’s Virgil Abloh.
Vogue got an inside look at the Met Gala 2018 prep process for It-model Kendall Jenner. Jenner wore a white, off-the-shoulder Off-White™ jumpsuit with a sleek middle-part ponytail. Her “Get Ready” video begins with her glam team struggling to maintain her attention as her eyes are glued to the television screen. The NBA is in the midsts of its semi-finals and she didn’t want to miss a beat.
Once she manages to slip the one-piece on her seamstress goes in to make final alterations. She asks for the rear seam to be “as tight as possible” to make sure it creates the best shape. She finishes up with makeup and hair while discussing her first Met Gala that she attended with Topshop. This year marked her fifth appearance so of course she had to bring a stunning date who happened to be the designer for her garment, Virgil Abloh. Abloh joins her before she makes her way to the location dressed in a complementary cream suit that he paired with the Air Jordan 1 “UNC.”
Watch the clip above and check out details from her look below. Jenner also sported Off-White™ to an after-party accompanied by model sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid. Be sure to check out the best after-party outfits from the night as well.
