Kylie Jenner's Cosmetics Brand Has Just Been Hacked on Social Media
It’s not what you think.
Kylie Jenner‘s namesake beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics is being hacked — well, kind of, by her own mother Kris Jenner. Earlier today, the 20-year-old makeup mogul has taken to Instagram Stories to announce the new collaboration with her famous momager, which includes a full-on takeover across the brand’s social media channels. Kylie Cosmetics’ Facebook, Instagram and Twitter handles have all been temporarily swapped with “@kriscosmetics,” while Kylie’s signature dripping lip logo has been replaced by a portrait of Kris Jenner.
A cheeky teaser video follows the powerful mother of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters as she shows up abruptly at a Kylie Cosmetics photoshoot, immediately crossing out Kylie’s name on a sign upon arrival. Dressed in her go-to all-black suit and sunglasses, the reality star poses in front of a camera while sitting on her new throne. “Hey guys.. it’s me,” Kris writes on Instagram, “and oh, my collection drops on Mother’s Day.”
There is no word yet on what products the Kris Cosmetics collection will feature. Be sure to stay with us for further updates before the collab releases on kyliecosmetics.com on Sunday, May 13. In the meantime, check out the teasers for yourself below.
