You Can Now Vote for Your Favorite Nike: On Air City-Inspired Air Max
Who will the winner be?
In celebration of Air Max Day, Nike‘s On Air workshop encouraged sneaker lovers around the world to take part in a sneaker design competition where they were asked to reimagine an Air Max silhouette inspired by their very own home city.
At these workshops, which were held in Paris, London, New York, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo, each applicant was expected to represent their city by sketching their own interpretation of the Air Max. In the end, the designs were presented to Nike and a local judging panel of cultural influencers. Now, three applicants from each city have been selected and the public will get the opportunity to vote for their favorite designs.
You can vote for your favorite now on Nike.com. The top six creations – one from each city – will be announced on May 14 and the winners will be put into production for Air Max Day in 2019. Watch the official trailer for the Nike: On Air project below.
