You've Never Seen a Nike Air Max Combo as Bright as These

Arriving in shocking “Hyper Magenta” and “Racer Pink.”

With summer right around the corner, it’s time to trade those fresh white kicks for something a little bolder. It seems perfectly-timed then, that Nike is releasing two vibrant new iterations of some of its much-loved Frankenstein silhouettes.

The Air Max 97 Plus arrives in “Hyper Magenta,” which consists of “Racer Pink” upper complete with those classic Air Max Plus Tn waves adding some texture to the upper. A tonal mini Swoosh is embedded on the lateral side and a magenta panel sits just above the midsole. Bringing a stark contrast to the vivid upper is the black detailing on the laces and tongue, as well as the soft turquoise Swoosh that rests on the tongue. An orange midsole completes the look, with visible bubble cushioning adding a futuristic edge.

The Air Max Plus 97 in “Racer Pink” features its namesake colorway on the Air Max midsole. Above this lies the striped Air Max 97 upper in a show-stopping “Total Crimson” tone and a hit of magenta underneath with a small, complementary Swoosh. Rounding off the look is a practical heel tab in the same magenta hue and a black lacing unit.

Get a proper look at both silhouettes above – you can shop these summer-ready sneakers at retailers like UNKNWN from May 10. Prices range between $160 – $175 AUD (approx. $119 – $130 USD). For something a little more demure, check out Nike’s all-white Air Max 95 Premium.
