Pat McGrath x The Met Announce an Exclusive Collection

In honor of The Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Heavenly Bodies.”

Following up on the news of the LUST Lip Gloss dropping in 14 new shades, Pat McGrath officially announces her newest collaboration ahead of the 2018 Met Gala. The Pat McGrath Labs x The Met collection will feature an exclusive shade “Aliengelic.”

The collab will also include a special edition Mothership IV: Decadence eyeshadow palette. As a further homage to the discussion on fashion, beauty and art’s current relationship, the products come printed with artwork from The Costume Institute’s new “Heavenly Bodies” exhibition on the packaging. A limited-edition line of merch which is made up of long and short sleeve T-shirts, will also be available in unisex sizing. McGrath’s apparel range was previously sold in-store at Dover Street Market New York.

Pat McGrath shared her thoughts on the collaboration in an official statement:

“The Costume Institute’s exhibitions are legendary, and I am thrilled to be able to present this exclusive range of products inspired by this prestigious exhibition. Religious history and artifacts have always been vital influences on my work, and it is an extraordinary honor for me to be unveiling these new pieces alongside this breathtaking exhibition as the first-ever beauty brand at New York’s iconic Met Store.”

Purchase the Pat McGrath Labs x The Met collection at the “Heavenly Bodies” exhibition store. Additional items will be available at The Met Cloisters and online on May 8. Below you’ll find detailed images of the merch collection which is now available exclusively online.
