Take a Look Inside Gucci's Lavish SoHo, New York Store
The brand’s Dapper Dan collection is currently on display.
Gucci has opened the doors to its first store in New York City‘s SoHo neighborhood. The area is known for its vibrant shopping culture and the creatives who call its streets home. The new Wooster Street location is a bohemian blend of Italian artistry mixed with the industrial roots of the building. The space occupies 10,000 square feet in which its original framework is reworked with hand-painted floor designs and bold interior staging. Vintage furniture and fixtures add a throwback feel to the former site of a pencil factory. The store will include a theater of sorts with a 3D video display for viewers to step into the realm of Gucci.
The downtown flagship will stock women’s and men’s clothing as well as jewelry, accessories and decor. There, customers be able to preview the brand’s Dapper Dan collection. The Harlem designer remixed the Gucci archive adding his own spin to classic silhouettes. Shoppers will also be able to enjoy Gucci’s DIY assortment adding unique lettering to unisex luggage and the popular Ace sneaker.
