Urban Sophistication's New Lookbook Comments on HYPEBEAST Culture
Cop at any cost.
Parody label Urban Sophistication has taken its commentary on HYPEBEAST culture one step further. The imprint is known for inverting the logos and graphics of popular brands such as YEEZY and Off-White™, creating rebellious alternatives for the cheeky dressers.
The “OUT OF REACH” lookbook showcases its three-piece spring capsule which includes a crewneck sweater, hat and sweatpants. The trio of models loiter on the streets of New York City begging for money to feed their streetwear habits. They hold signs that read “spent my rent on a hoodie not oversized enough to live in” and “add to bag.” A Gucci cloth bag serves as their collection plate as they sit on the curb in the red cotton pants and bright orange top. The logo of popular American burger restaurant In-N-Out is transformed and we see typical resale phrases on all three pieces.
Shoppers can peep the spread above to get an idea of what the new gear looks like. The hat retails for $48 USD, the sweater for $88 USD and the sweatpants for $82 USD. All can be found at Urban Sophistication’s online shop now.
