UPDATE: Heron Preston’s NASA collaboration for the Fall/Winter 2018 season is available at SSENSE now.
Heron Preston‘s Fall/Winter 2018 collection is a wonder to behold. The streetwear label has confirmed two capsules for the season with NASA and Carhartt WIP. The collaborations mix HP’s identity with space-inspired gear and worn workwear that is perfect for the fall weather.
For the National Aeronautics and Space Administration capsule, Heron Preston borrowed the agency’s 1975 logo which is nicknamed the “worm.” This stamp can be seen on the range of jackets, hoodies and T-shirts. Standout items include the 3M nylon space jacket and convertible backpack which can be worn as a fanny pack or tote bag. Joggers and a pair of logo socks complete the line. In true Carhartt fashion, Heron Preston adds a utilitarian detail to each of the items .The outerwear, vests and hats are made to look used but still stylish. The paint-splattered vests are an early favorite.
Items from the NASA capsule will be available in stores and online on July 27. The Carhartt WIP collaboration is scheduled for a release in December. Take a look at every single item from both partnerships above.
