The adidas NMD_CS1 "Core Black" Features Luxe, Nude Details
Can you spot the hidden reference?
Following up to its recent “Running White/Clear Orange” release, adidas now returns with yet another NMD_CS1 colorway. This time around, the streamlined silhouette gets reworked in a “Core Black” version. Once again, the sneaker is constructed with a Primeknit upper that is absent of a lacing system – the effect is an effortlessly sleek profile that is emphasized by its fitted sock collar. For this particular iteration, luxe details are used throughout, which includes premium leather accents seen on both the heel tab and medial panel.
Contrasting the tonal black body of the sneaker, nude-colored leather segments in the shape of half-circles are seen on the medial side panels. Etched onto the leather pieces are the characters, “AQ0948,” which refer to this particular model’s product code. Rounding off the look is, of course, the City Sock’s hallmark BOOST midsole, embellished with color-matching white EVA plugs.
You can shop the new adidas NMD_CS1 “Core Black” now at select stockists such as Livestock for $240 CAD (approximately $183 USD). To see more from adidas, don’t miss the sportswear giant’s collaborative pieces in Gosha Rubchinskiy’s first Fall/Winter 2018 drop.
