Nike Reveals Its Newly Designed Zoom Pegasus Turbo

Available soon.

Nike has unveiled its latest Zoom Pegasus Turbo silhouette. The model which was specifically designed to help runner store more energy comes packed wih futuristic detailing. Arriving in a colorway dubbed “Hot Punch/Grey Hero,” the kicks were created with a large bright red Swoosh and a white midsole unit. Emphasis is placed on the mint green upper and other distinct new age design cues.

One of the main components that provides the energy return feature is the forefoot stack height. An additional standout feature is the heel collar, this component was constructed to curve away from the Achilles tendon to provide a comfortable fit for athletes and trainers.

Notable specs on the sneakers are the seamless translucent mesh on the upper and the thick racing stripe which runs down the center from the top of the tongue to below the forefoot. The aforementioned upper showcases Flywire cables which fuse with the laces to provide an adjustable fit. Lastly, another noteworthy design fixture are the small Waffle pistons designed in the rubber outsole, these pieces assist with absorbing impact.

The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo will be available for $180 USD on July 19 for NikePlus members in the United States, China, Japan, Germany, U.K. and Brazil via the Nike and NRC apps. The design will be available worldwide on August 2 on nike.com and at select retailers.
