Take an Official Look at Martine Rose's Nike Air Monarch IV, Dropping This Month
We’re in love with the “Rose/Pink” colorway.
After a previous Craigslist drop, Martine Rose and Nike are set to release their all-pink collaboration in a larger quantity. The oversized Air Monarch IV sneaker will also be available in two other colorways. The most significant accent on each pair is the bulbous detail which appears along the upper.
The following iterations include the previously seen “Rose/Pink,” “White/Metallic Silver” and “Black.” The design came from the imagination of Rose as she began with fitting a size 18 upper onto a size 9 sole unit. Her method led to a distorted model which maintains the standout detailing of the Air Monarch IV. Topping off each trainer are the designer’s logos seen on the midfoot and insoles of each design.
Martine Rose’s take on the Nike Air Monarch IV prices out at $250 USD and will be available on January 12 at Nike’s web store and select stockists. Take a look at each colorway in the gallery above.
